SUMMARY:Asia-Pacific Gravity and Geoid Workshop 2027
DESCRIPTION:This meeting aims to promote regional collaboration in gravity\, geoid modeling\, vertical reference systems\, and time-varying gravity applications. In addition to traditional static gravity topics such as geoid determination and vertical datum modernization\, the meeting will emphasize emerging applications of terrestrial time-varying gravity in groundwater studies\, managed aquifer recharge\, and land-subsidence monitoring. \nThe meeting will provide a platform for researchers\, national mapping agencies\, geodetic institutions\, and young scientists in the Asia-Pacific region to exchange methods\, data\, and experiences. We especially welcome participation from countries interested in strengthening their gravity\, geoid\, and vertical reference activities\, as well as those exploring terrestrial gravimetry for hydrological and environmental applications.
