SUMMARY:ITGRF Workshop 2026
DESCRIPTION:The 2026 ITGRF workshop will provide an excellent opportunity to advance the International Terrestrial Gravity Reference Frame and to discuss current activities within the IAG Joint Working Group 2.1.1. The workshop will focus on ensuring the compatibility of absolute gravity observations\, establishing and maintaining gravity reference stations\, and developing a modern\, user-oriented infrastructure for end-users. It will bring together experts in absolute gravimetry\, gravity monitoring\, and reference frame realization to exchange knowledge and coordinate future work. \nThe International Terrestrial Gravity Reference Frame (ITGRF) is developed by the International Association of Geodesy and is based on accurate observations from absolute gravimeters and continuous gravity monitoring at reference stations. SUMMARY:Asia-Pacific Gravity and Geoid Workshop 2027
DESCRIPTION:This meeting aims to promote regional collaboration in gravity\, geoid modeling\, vertical reference systems\, and time-varying gravity applications. In addition to traditional static gravity topics such as geoid determination and vertical datum modernization\, the meeting will emphasize emerging applications of terrestrial time-varying gravity in groundwater studies\, managed aquifer recharge\, and land-subsidence monitoring. \nThe meeting will provide a platform for researchers\, national mapping agencies\, geodetic institutions\, and young scientists in the Asia-Pacific region to exchange methods\, data\, and experiences.
