DESCRIPTION:It is a privilege and pleasure to invite you to the jubillee X Hotine-Marussi Symposium on Mathematical Geodesy\, which will be held at Politecnico di Milano\, Italy on June 13-17\, 2022\, under the scientific coordination of the Intercommission Committee on Theory (ICCT) of the International Association of Geodesy (IAG). \nAll details about the symposium\, its scientific program and venue are available at the Hotine-Marussi Symposium 2022 website. \nObjectives\nThe main goals of the Symposium are aligned with the objectives of the ICCT: \n\nadvances in theoretical geodesy\ndevelopments in geodetic modelling and data processing in the light of the recent advances of the geodetic observing systems\nconnections and contribution exchanges between geodesy and other Earth sciences\n\nIn particular\, all the topics regarding the activities of the ICCT Study Groups are of interest and related contributions are strongly encouraged. \nFurther\, also papers concerning other topics related to the possible interaction and mutual benefits between geodetic theory and methodology and other initiatives/projects involving Earth sciences (for example the Group on Earth Observation) are welcome.

SUMMARY:1st Workshop on Data Science for GNSS Remote Sensing
DESCRIPTION:There has been recently a rapid progress in Earth observation using GNSS signals from numerous ground and satellite based platforms as well as modern data scientific approaches for their analysis\, including machine learning and data assimilation techniques. We believe it is the right time to gather scientists interested in interdisciplinary activities linking these two research areas to foster a creative and intense scientific exchange and collaborations. Our ultimate goal is the provision of advanced and versatile GNSS Remote Sensing data products on different spatio-temporal scales for Earth System science and related operational applications to advance early warning systems and numerical weather forecasts. \nThis meeting will be hosted by the German Research Centre for Geosciences GFZ and will take place on the historic “Telegrafenberg” in Potsdam on June\, 13-15\, 2022. At the moment\, it is planned as a face-to-face meeting. DESCRIPTION:The IAG Scientific Assembly will be held in Beijing on June 28–July 2\, 2021.  The Scientific Assembly is a quadrennial event\, in the middle of the periods of the IAG General Assembly. To view all details\, instructions of deadlines\, schedule\, programme\, abstract submission and registration of this conference\, please visit the official website: www.iag2021.com \nDue to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic\, the Assembly was organized as a totally virtual meeting. The Assembly papers will be published in the renowned peer-reviewed book series\, International Association of Geodesy Symposia. All papers will be open access\, and publishing will free of charge.
