This year GGOS has following combined session with IGS: \nServing Global Geodesy: Innovations Enabled by the IGS and IAG-GGOS (G41C & G44A)\nSession description: “The International GNSS Service (IGS) provides a broad range of high-precision openly available products supporting a diverse array of GNSS-based scientific applications. Currently the legacy product chains include three out of the four meanwhile fully deployed global constellations\, namely GPS\, GLONASS\, and Galileo. Developments to including additional global and regional systems (BeiDou\, QZSS\, NavIC\, etc.) are ongoing within the IGS. Advances in IGS product development may stimulate new multi-GNSS based scientific applications in a wide range of potential applications from geodetic\, geodynamic towards glaciology\, global environmental change\, disaster and tsunami early warning\, up to space weather and atmospheric science. At the same time\, the continuous improvement of GNSS-based products is a scientific challenge regarding constantly evolving satellites\, systems\, signals\, related models\, and data analysis methodology. DESCRIPTION:From November 13 to 17\, 2023 will be held the 14th International School on “The Determination and Use of the Geoid”. The School will take place at the Instituto Geográfico Nacional\, in Buenos Aires\, Argentina. The School will be held in person and classes will be taught only in English. \nThe general purpose of the full-week intensive Geoid School is to prepare new graduate students\, young scientists\, and employees of national agencies to compute and use gravimetric geoids for scientific and technical applications in Geodesy. DESCRIPTION:We are organizing “GRACE Hackweek 3”\, an online school on time-variable gravity field from GRACE/GRACE-FO satellite missions to be held from October 2-6\, 2023. This is the third edition of the online school. \nIt is our aim in this online school to give an idea of the time variable gravity field recovery process from satellite gravimetry missions\, and also to help non-geodesists to get to grips with handling\ntime-variable gravity data from GRACE/GRACE-FO. The online school will be open to everyone who is interested in using time-variable gravity for their research.
