GGOS Topical Meeting on Geohazards

2 October 2026 | Gävle, Sweden
Registration is now open for the GGOS Topical Meeting on Geohazards, which will take place on 2 October 2026 in Gävle, Sweden, with the option to participate either in person or online.

The meeting will bring together experts from the geodesy and geohazards communities to explore how geodetic observations and technologies can be translated into reliable operational services for geohazard monitoring, early warning, and emergency response.

The programme features three 1.5-hour thematic sessions with invited keynote presentations and moderated discussions, focusing on:
1. InSAR key applications,
2. Continuous monitoring based on InSAR,
3. Regional initiatives integrating GNSS and InSAR techniques.

Held immediately after the IAG Commission 3 TIGER Symposium (28 September–1 October 2026) and just before GGOS Days 2026 (5–7 October), the meeting provides an excellent opportunity to engage with the broader international geodetic community.

Participation is free of charge, but registration is required. On-site registration is open until 6 September 2026, while online registration will remain open until the day of the meeting, 2 October 2026.
