- Under the supervision of the Head of Office or a designated officer, and in close coordination with UN GGCE personnel, the Intern will: • Support the development of an e-learning course on geodesy by structuring, organizing, and adapting existing UN GGCE content for online learning. • Assist in converting technical material (reports, presentations, training slides, background papers) into learner centred e-learning modules, ensuring clarity, coherence, and appropriate cognitive load. • Support the use of Articulate 360 to develop interactive learning elements, quizzes, knowledge checks, visuals, and narration scripts, under guidance. • Assist with the preparation of course outlines, learning objectives, module structures, and storyboards aligned with adult learning and capacity development principles. • Support the integration and hosting of course content on the Digital Learning Centre’s Moodle platform or Articulate Cloud, as appropriate. • Support testing and quality assurance of e-learning modules within the Leaning Management System (LMS) to ensure functionality, usability, and accessibility across devices. • Collaborate with technical experts to ensure scientific accuracy and alignment with UN GGCE objectives and the GGRF framework. • Contribute to the preparation of supporting materials such as course descriptions, participant guidance notes, and certification or assessment elements. • Assist with coordination and documentation related to course development meetings, reviews, and timelines. • Perform other related duties as assigned in support of UN GGCE capacity development and digital learning activities.
