GGOS at #AGU25 – Call for Abstracts
This year at #AGU25 (15-19 December 2025, New Orleans, USA), the Global Geodetic Observing System (GGOS) is once again hosting its own session
G004 | A Scientific and Observational Network for a Connected Planet: The Contribution of Geodesy to Earth System Monitoring
and warmly invites you to contribute! If your research advances geodesy’s role in Earth system monitoring, don’t miss this opportunity to share your work with the global scientific community. We welcome abstracts that explore the scientific and societal value of geodesy, including:
- Integration of geodetic techniques such as GNSS, SLR, VLBI, DORIS, and gravimetry
- Applications in mass transport, sea level change, crustal deformation, space water research, and geohazard monitoring
- Advances in global reference frames and interoperable data/models
- The expanding role of geodesy in the cislunar domain
This session is your chance to contribute to a global dialogue on how geodetic observations support climate research, hazard response, and scientific collaboration across disciplines. Join us and help shape the future of Earth system monitoring through geodesy!
🕒 Abstract Deadline: Wednesday, 30 July 2025 (23:59 EDT / 03:59 UTC)
