CryoSat
CryoSat is a European Space Agency (ESA) satellite mission, consisting of CryoSat-2, dedicated to measuring the extent and thickness of Earth’s polar ice sheets and sea ice. Launched in April 2010, its primary instrument is a radar altimeter that tracks changes in ice cover and volume, providing data vital for understanding climate change, global warming, and predicting future sea level rise.
