Advancing Geodesy for Climate Science
The IAG established the Inter-Commission Committee on “Geodesy for Climate Research” (ICCC) to enhance the role of geodetic observations in climate studies and foster collaboration with climate science. Its goals include improving geodetic techniques for climate signal analysis, advancing climate models, and promoting scientific exchange between geodesy and climate communities. ICCC activities will involve thematic working groups, workshops, conference sessions, and partnerships with climate-focused organizations.
