PhD Opportunity in GNSS – Full Scholarship

We are pleased to announce a PhD opening in the GNSS Lab at Curtin University, Perth, Australia. This position comes with a full scholarship and focuses on enhancing positioning resilience through the integration of GNSS with 5G technologies.

We’re seeking an outstanding candidate with strong expertise in GNSS or 5G — ideally both. The applicant should have a Master’s degree that includes a research component of at least 25%.

The successful applicant will receive:

  • A tax-free stipend of AUD $37,500 per annum
  • A full tuition fee waiver
  • Medical insurance coverage for one person

The scholarship is awarded for three years, with the possibility of a six-month extension.

Applicants from non-native English-speaking countries must meet Curtin’s English language requirements — for example, a minimum IELTS score of 6.5 overall, with no band below 6.
