Registration is now OPEN for the Geodesy for a Resilient Africa Summer School 2026, an intensive, hands-on training focused on turning data into action for Africa’s most pressing climate challenges. 📣

🔎 Who should apply?
This summer school is exclusively for Africans and is designed for:
• Master’s & PhD students
• Early- and mid-career researchers
• Postdoctoral fellows & young scientists
• NGO leaders, climate activists & practitioners
• Stakeholders involved in climate, coastal, or water-related decision-making
🎯 What you’ll gain:
• Participants will receive advanced practical training in:
• Satellite data processing & interpretation
• Geodetic reference frames & vertical datumsSea-level monitoring & coastal dynamics
• Data-driven climate risk assessment
• Translating science into actionable solutions for policy & communities
A total of 20 to 30 participants will be selected for this immersive experience.
