BDS – BeiDou Navigation Satellite System

The BeiDou Navigation Satellite System (BDS) is China’s self-built, independent global satellite navigation system, providing positioning, navigation, and timing (PNT) services globally. Operating independently and interoperable with other GNSS, BDS uses a constellation of satellites in various orbits to offer high-accuracy services for transportation, disaster relief, agriculture, and more, supporting both free open services and secure authorized services.
