EPOS – European Plate Observing System
EPOS (European Plate Observing System) is a European research infrastructure that integrates solid Earth science data, services, and facilities to study the dynamic processes of the Earth’s lithosphere. In geodesy, EPOS provides access to GNSS data, geodetic products, and related geophysical observations that support research on tectonics, crustal deformation, earthquakes, and volcanic activity. By harmonizing and standardizing geodetic and geophysical datasets across Europe, EPOS strengthens the role of geodesy in understanding plate dynamics and geohazards.
