Ginan – Geodetic Integrated Navigation Analysis Software

Ginan is an open-source software package developed by Geoscience Australia for high-precision processing of Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) data. It supports advanced positioning techniques such as Precise Point Positioning (PPP), real-time and post-processed solutions, and network-based analyses.

In geodesy, Ginan is used for precise orbit determination, station coordinate estimation, tropospheric delay modeling, ambiguity resolution, and reference frame realization. It contributes to high-accuracy positioning and Earth system monitoring by enabling consistent and rigorous processing of multi-GNSS observations.
