swisstopo – Federal Office of Topography (Switzerland)

swisstopo is the Federal Office of Topography of Switzerland and the national authority responsible for geoinformation, national mapping, and geodetic reference systems. It maintains Switzerland’s national coordinate reference frames, height systems, and geodetic infrastructure, including GNSS networks and gravity measurements.

In geodesy, swisstopo plays a key role in the realization and maintenance of precise national reference frames and contributes to international geodetic initiatives and global reference frame integration. Its activities support positioning, engineering, cadastre, hazard monitoring, and Earth system research.
