IUGG – International Union of Geodesy and Geophysics

The International Union of Geodesy and Geophysics (IUGG) is an international scientific organization dedicated to advancing, promoting, and communicating knowledge of the Earth system and its space environment. It coordinates global scientific cooperation in the geosciences through several constituent associations that focus on different components of the Earth system. One of these associations is the International Association of Geodesy (IAG), which represents the geodetic community within the IUGG.
