B1 / B2 / B3 – BeiDou frequencies
- B1 is the primary navigation frequency of the BeiDou system. It operates at approximately 1575.42 MHz, similar to GPS L1. It is used for standard positioning and timing services.
- B2 is the second BeiDou frequency centered at 1207.14 MHz. It improves positioning accuracy through dual-frequency ionospheric correction. It is used in advanced GNSS applications requiring higher precision.
- B3 is the third BeiDou frequency at 1268.52 MHz. It provides additional redundancy and improves overall positioning robustness. It is mainly used in high-precision and specialized applications.
