CORS – Continuously Operating Reference Stations

Continuously Operating Reference Stations (CORS) are GNSS station and/or network continuously observing GNSS signals 24/7. CORS are widely used as reference stations for GNSS real-time positioning and provides access to ITRF coordinates. CORS also are one of the main contributers to geodetic reference frames and are already essential for various Earth scientific fields such as meteorology, space weather, seismology, volcanology, etc.
