ECEF – Earth-Centered Earth-Fixed coordinate system

The Earth-Centered Earth-Fixed (ECEF) coordinate system is a 3D Cartesian system with its origin at Earth’s center of mass. It rotates with the Earth, allowing positions to be expressed relative to the planet’s surface.
