SIRGAS – Geocentric Reference System for the Americas

SIRGAS (Geocentric Reference System for the Americas) realizes and maintains a unified geocentric reference frame for South and Central America consistent with the ITRF. It integrates GNSS observations from continental networks to support precise positioning and geodetic infrastructure. SIRGAS also contributes to regional geodynamics and Earth science studies.
